Cleaning – Part Time
Provide cleaning duties for all areas owned and operated by the Wisconsin Center District. Duties shall include any situation or occurrence that involves cleaning or any task assigned. Normally assigned to a shift and work various days of the week.
Start $9.93/Hr. – After 135 hours $10.62/Hr.
Set-up/Maintenance – Part Time
Event equipment set up/tear down – Tables, Chairs, Stages, Basketball floor, Dance floor, Ice floor, and other equipment as assigned. Normally assigned to a shift and work various days of the week. Start $11.69/Hr. – After 135 hours $12.97/Hr.
Telecommunications Technician

POSITION: Telecommunications Technician
REPORTS TO: Telecommunications Manager
GENERAL DUTIES: Assist in voice/video/data operations for various events, during event hours, for all WCD facilities. Operate and maintain AVAYA Technologies PBX. Assist in operation of 3Comm/Nortel Data Network and Theatre Audio systems.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Minimum of graduation from an accredited two-year degree program with a major in Computer Science or Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
2. Working knowledge with Windows 2000, XP and Microsoft Office applications.
2. Ability to use hand and power tools used in day-to-day activities.
3. Ability to install and maintain hardware and software.
4. Ability to learn job-related material primarily through oral instruction and observation. This learning takes place mainly in an on-the-job training setting.
5. Excellent communication skills needed for all aspects of job, including training of staff in the proper use of equipment and software.
6. Project a team approach and work cooperatively with others to achieve goals and objectives.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED FOR POSITION:
1. Understand and consistently follow work rules, procedures and directions.

GENERAL DUTIES: Painting or refurbishment of decorative and protective surfaces of Wisconsin Center District (WCD) facilities.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Paint and clean various surfaces.
2. Perform roofing maintenance on WCD structures.
3. Perform plastering, dry walling, glass repair and glazing throughout WCD facilities.
4. Perform preventive maintenance on various machines and equipment used in connection with WCD operations.
5. Maintain acoustical, masonry and sheet metal surfaces throughout WCD.
6. Provide directions and assistance to WCD guests when asked.
7. Regular and punctual attendance.

GENERAL DUTIES: Performs duties of a Journeyman Electrician.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Install, inspect, maintain and repair electrical services.
2. General maintenance of equipment and fixtures at Wisconsin Center District.
3. Install, inspect, maintain and repair electrical service for facility exhibitors.
4. Install, inspect, maintain and repair electrical equipment.
5. Inspect and repair electrical fixtures.
6. Calibration of equipment and preventative maintenance as needed basis.
4. Provide directions and assistance to Wisconsin Center District guests when asked.
5. Regular and punctual attendance.

2. Break down, check in and count all tickets and cosign to event promoter.
3. Maintain appropriate level of cash and change for events at Wisconsin Center District.
4. Provide information for and coordinate box office activities with event promoters.
5. Handle customer complaints.
6. Provide directions and assistance to Wisconsin Center District guests when asked.
